Colombian Star Striker Falcao hits back over false Age claims

Newly acquired Monaco Striker Hits Back at his false age claims
The Colombian took to social network to rubbish reports that emerged from his homeland on Tuesday which say he is two years older than what his Fifa registration states
Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has vehemently denied reports he lied about his age, with various media outlets claiming the striker was born in
1984 rather than 1986.

The Colombia international, who completed a move to Stade Louis II this summer for a reported €60 million in June, is accused of falsifying his date of birth following the release of his school records which suggest the forward is actually 29 years old.

According to the striker's Fifa registration Falcao was born on February 10, 1986 but Colombian TV station Noticias Uno claim the star was actually born two years earlier.

However, the former Atletico Madrid hitman has taken to Twitter to rubbish the rumours, which he describes as "totally ridiculous".

He wrote: "I have been surprised with the news surrounding my age recently, and the claims are totally ridiculous."

"I want to categorically deny these claims and put this issue to bed once and for all."

Falcao earned his big-money move to the Principality this summer after netting 70 times in 90 appearances for Atleti throughout his two-year stay in the Spanish capital.
