HIGUAN: WE CAN BREAK UNITED

REAL MADRID hitman Gonzalo Higuain claims they will BREAK Manchester United on Wednesday night.

The Spanish giants’ great strength throughout Jose Mourinho’s three-year reign has been their lightning-quick counter-attacks.

And Higuain insisted Real must hit the Red Devils on the break with the explosive pace of Cristiano Ronaldo & Co.
He said: “No doubt we will go all out in this game. I was fortunate enough to play many big games and the truth is you feel a lot of things.

"The first is to try and win to give joy to your people and to yourselves. Manchester United may be a compact team but in terms of quality and on the counter we can do a lot of damage to them.

"United always reach the latter stages of competitions. We have to be very careful.”
Madrid have to live up to the expectations of their millions of fans who have been desperately craving the club’s 10th Champions League trophy.

But Higuain insisted they must not get carried away against United and forget to keep tight on Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie.

He added: “We cannot forget to be solid in defence. We must have a winning mentality and the spirit of a team.”
Higuain started alongside Karim Benzema in the 4-1 win against Seville as Mourinho went with two strikers.

But the Special One is expected to start one of them on Wednesday and Benzema is widely tipped to get the nod as Real’s lone man up front.

Possible Real Madrid line-up: Lopez, Arbeloa, Ramos, Pepe, Coentrao, Khedira, Alonso, Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo, Benzema.
