Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini said ahead of the meeting at Old Trafford that the 15-point gap between the two teams did not represent the
difference in class.
City edged Monday’s encounter 2-1.But left-back Evra said: “People are saying we didn’t deserve the 15 points.
“But if we are here it is because we are working hard and deserve to win this title.
“We have to make sure we win at Stoke on Sunday and show we are the best team in England.”
Evra said any City fans hoping for another United collapse like last season can forget it.
He added: “Since I have been here I have never lost two games in a row.”
